There was a movement within the company to make everything web-accessible. To do that we needed standards, and I was happy to join the new architecture team to make that happen.

We started off by attending an engergizing seminar offered by the Meta Group. After that, we hired some great consultants from Grant Thornton.

From there, we set about gaining consensus and setting standards for platforms and tools.

We are currently working on standardizing methodology and operations.
